Today, Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif) introduced Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 — her bill to ban “assault weapons,” comprised of more than 150 rifles, handguns, and shotguns. Her bill is co-sponsored by several top Democrats, including Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
Both Feinstein and Schumer not only carry concealed weapons, they are also protected by armed police escorts.
