Lip Popping Colours!

By Wildchildmedia @wildchildmedia

This seasons shows has seen a variety of couture beauty, one of the most adopted looks was the bright lip-popping colours!  The reason why I love this look is that it is very wearable, unlike some looks shown this couture season, plus it is a simple and classic look that anybody can wear! Just remember, to keep the face simple and to a minimal, allowing your lips to do ALL the talking!

For a neon coral lips, just add some Max Factor’s Colour Elixir Lipstick in Bewitching Coral

Burberry showed a classic dark red lip, recreate this look by lining and filling the lips with Mac’s Brick Lip Liner and then filling them in with Mac’s Russian Red

Giles opted for a bright blue-toned pink, try Mac’s Pigeon Pink or NYX Sweet Pink Matte Lipstick

For a beautiful, yet simple, orange-red lip, just add Mac’s Lady Danger.

For a magenta lip, simply add a swipe of Mac’s Lickable or for a matte finish use Illamasqua’s Eurydice

This Missoni lip look was creating using a mix of mac lip-mixes and pigments. An easier way to recreate this color would be to mix Mac So Chaud with Mac Candy Yum Yum finishing with Mac Red Electric Pigment (not available on the site). You can also re-create this lip by using Maybelline’s Color Sensational in Shocking Coral,  or Tom Ford Lip Colour in True Coral, if desired, take any shine off by patting over a translucent powder on top of the lipstick.

To capture the orange lip as shown in Paul Smiths show pat on Lady Danger by Mac and finish this sultry orange look with some of Mac’s Neo-Orange Pigment or simply try Chanel’s Excentrique.

Of course you can wear any lip color of choice! Just remember to keep the rest of the face simple and be as daring as possible with those shades!

Will you be wearing a bright lip colour? If so, which will it be?
