Lily Cole Hi-Shine Lip Treatment (from The Body Shop)~Go Wild~

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I picked up this lip gloss about a week ago, once I realized that The Body Shop closest to me finally got the new Lily Cole line in.  I loved my other tube of Hi-Shine Lip Treatment, so I really wanted to try the new colors.  They did not disappoint.  It comes in four colors:
1.) 01: Go Naked, which is just a basic nude
2.) 02: Go Pink, which is a pale pink
3.) 03: Go Wild: sheer dark pink
4.) 04: Go Go Play: sheer medium pink, not as dark as Go Wild and not as pale as Go Pink.
The color I got was Go Wild.  If you were to just see the tube without applying any, it looks like a dark-ish raspberry pink.  However, the color is very sheer, but still pretty.  I will admit that I was slightly disappointed by this at first, but the gloss has other great perks so that I was able to get past this.  Since my lips are very prone to dryness, it is crucial that lip products be moisturizing if I am going to wear them on a regular basis.  And this gloss is actually very moisturizing.  That is a quality I have a hard time finding in any lip product.  It is a little thick, but I did not find it to be the least bit sticky.  The gloss seems to stay on about four hours, and my lips still feel moisturized afterwards.  The packaging is cute and simple; it just a basic lip gloss tube with the slanted applicator.  I normally find this kind of packaging messy, but not this time.  It does have a scent, but it is not synthetic.  It reminds me of a grapefruit.  The scent is not strong and fades pretty quickly.  It is also pretty shimmery, as you can see from the swatch.  But it does not look crazy when applied, but your lips will look very glossy and shiny, which is the purpose of a good lip gloss :) Another great thing about the entire Lily Cole Range from The Body Shop is that it is cruelty free.
This gloss is half the size of the ones from the regular line, and it is cheaper as a result.  This one is $5 for 0.20 oz.  It looks small, but it will last longer than what you think.  Plus it is better quality than any other gloss I have tried for around the same price.  And it is eczema friendly =) No irritation, just soft and glossy lips.

It is really sheer, but you can see more of the pink in person.
