Lifestyle | Jedi, Hamilton & Some Fashion Favourites

Lifestyle | Jedi, Hamilton & Some Fashion FavouritesI can't remember the last time I sat and wrote a blog post that didn't originate from a sole purpose or product...
I'm sat in my boyfriend's jedi-style dressing gown, slightly sniffly, slightly paracetamol-ed up, and I just have this drive to write. Gosh, I can't remember the last time I actually felt that drive. I feel it oozing through my body and it's making the corners of my mouth turn up.
I guess that's what happens when you know you need a break; that drive fizzles out and there's nothing you can really do about it. Yet coming back to it is more exciting this time...
I feel like I can blog like I once did. Just open up my laptop and let my fingers bump and grind (what?) their way around my keyboard to put together a piece of content (if you can call it content?) for a couple of people to have a read of.
Not worrying about the brands I'm not working with. Or being concerned about why people aren't reading my blog. Just enjoy doing me.
Whilst this post is coming to life, I've got a playlist of Hamilton videos on in the background. My smile is stretching from ear to ear despite the constant blowing of my nose. I've realised how much this musical has a positive impact on my mood.
Like, who'd have thought I'd be obsessed with a hip-hop musical about one of America's founding fathers? DOESN'T IT SOUND MENTAL?
But it's the pure sense of empowerment I get from that soundtrack that has pulled me through the past couple of weeks. I am legit a one-woman show once I get going. AND I ALSO CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT NEXT YEAR. (Yes, I already have tickets).
I'm learning to take any little bits of happiness in my life right now and take full hold of them and enjoy them for what they are. Whether that's performing my very own version of Hamilton Car-eoke, or moving up weights in the gym. I'm trying to shift my focus. The gym has helped my mental health massively so far this year, would you be interested in reading a post about that?
I feel like I should be ten, fifteen, twenty steps ahead of myself at all times and I need to learn to relax a little bit and 'live in the moment'. It's so strange because I have given great advice to some friends recently, yet it's so hard for me to take a leaf outta my own book.
Christ, this is a ramble and half isn't it? Here, have a few fashion pieces that I've been loving to break this little chit chat up a bit. I'll write some more rambly posts soon to get my emotions and feelings out, because it's good to release it, right?
