LG Announces Two Affordable Smartphones

LG unveiled two new phones in its L series – the LG L Fino and the L Bello. Both budget-friendly devices will be showcased at IFA in Berlin this September.

New LG L Series Phones

The LG L Bello is the slightly better phone in this duo, which measures 138.2 x 70.6 x 10.7 mm, and will be available in white, black and gold. It comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, a 5in FWVGA display and a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The handset has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage (expandable), and on its back is an 8-megapixel camera. The L Bello is powered by a 2,540mAh battery.

L Bello

The LG L Fino sports a 4.5in WVGA display and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, also backed by 1GB of RAM. With this smartphone, you get 4GB of built-in storage (expandable, too), an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1,900mAh battery. This handset measures 127.5 x 67.9 x 11.9mm, and it will be available in white, black, gold, red, or green (depending on the market).

Both devices will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat, with LG’s UX interface on top, and will launch in Latin America this month, followed by Europe, Asia and CIS soon. Pricing details are yet to be announced.
