Leicester City Vs Everton in Thailand

By Harvie

Unfortunately I support Leicester City (who?), they are owned by King Power and last night played a friendly match against Everton. My friends and family asked if I was going to the game as I live in Bangkok. I personally think watching paint dry is much more fun than watching Leicester City play live, but I decided to go to the game and show them pictures, I don’t want them to think that I spend all my time in Bangkok just banging street hookers and eating $1 noodles. You have to keep up appearances that you lead a normal and healthy life in Bangkok, based around self improvement, and hide the fact that you’re just a dirty sex pervert with serious issues. So far I am doing a good job of living the lie.

Ticket prices

The ticket prices for the game were way over priced, 500 baht for the cheapest ticket and 2,000 baht for the VIP (the stand with a roof). The average daily wage for a Thai person is around 300 baht, the average cost of a premier league game in Bangkok is 120 baht, yet they are charging me 500 baht to watch a friendly football game? uw0tm8?

I was right

Watching paint dry would of been more fun than watching the game, I couldn’t believe I had spent 500 baht to watch that game, that could of paid for a happy ending massage or 2/3 of a blowjob! Only kidding, the game was boring but the atmosphere was fun and I ended up meeting a nice guy from England, who supported Everton and we had some small talk. What I do like about football matches is the one English guy who takes every match way too seriously. If you know anything about English football you know what I am talking about. He was shouting some banter at the top of his lunges for about 5 minutes (then he got tired), and you could see the blood vessels on his forehead about to pop. Calm down brah, it’s only a friendly.

All in all it was a perfect case of either team not really caring about the fans and overcharging everyone to watch a friendly game. The price was way to high for local Thais to come and watch it, and only half the stadium was full, shame on you Leicester City and Everton. You both owe me handjobs!
