Lecrae hardly ever shows off his kids on social media, even though the rapper is seen by many as a great example of fatherhood. When fellow Christian artist Thi’sl took to social media to honor the father, Lecrae revealed that he tries to keep his kids off social media, because they don’t like all the attention.
Thi’sl wrote that Lecrae’s parenting was inspiring to him.
“I’ve always been super challenged and encouraged by that,” he said. “It’s beautiful to see.”
The exchanged caused fellow rapper and Lecrae’s Reach Records artist Alex Medina to chime in. Medina said he witnessed Lecrae make time for his family amid busy career obligations firsthand.
“First time I went on tour seeing him w. fam turned world upside down,” he tweeted in response to the message. “Give everything on stage.. drained.. then family time.”
