Huntingburg, Indiana is so cute and quaint it has been the site of three film sets, including A League of Their Own with Tom Hanks, Gena Davis, and more. In fact, the town still holds a phenomenal leftover movie prop: League Stadium!
League Stadium looks like it came straight out of the movie. Painted in the colors of the Rockford Peaches, and in the same period styling, it is absolutely incredible.
Can you imagine being the opposing team and stepping onto this field for the first time? You would wonder if you’d stepped back into time like on old episodes of The Twilight Zone! There’s many reasons to look over Huntingburg, Indiana–make sure to add this to your “must see” list of things to do in Indiana!
