7.1 Le Triangle, 13, Jacques-Louvel-Tessier in the 10th, 01.71.39.58.02, Metro: Aw foggedaboudid, maybe Goncourt, closed Sundays and Mondays, was/is a place I settled on to eat with my good friend, the blogger who prides himself on not paying more that 20 E for a 3-course meal (no liquids of course.)  It doesn't have a gunmetal gray fascade (1 point), does have a fixation on artisinal beers (-1 point) but has nice wines, reasonably priced (1 point.)

It was freezing cold and I met my friend outside, while we were both taking pix of the colorful street art (to be posted later).  We took one look at the "menu" and said to each other "we need real food today, no roasted beets and cod, we want stick to the ribs stuff."  And so it was:
- Housemade gnocchis which seemed kinda banal until mixed with cancoillotte (Translation - a "highly-favored" fondue) sauce and really spicy turnip stems
- Poitrines of pork with perfectly crisped skin and succulent insides with nicely flavored lentils and
- Financiers with roasted pineapple and passion fruit mousse.

Our bill was 66.30 E with a bottle of wine, no bottled water, nice bread and one coffee.

Go?  Immediately.  There are pesky loud French-types (dB = 87.5) there but we just out-shouted them.  And the staff is super-nice, a real plus.
