Hotel Le Fontanelle was named after the ancient fountains that were used to collect spring water and are still preserved today. Originally built in the 13th century. Overlooking the countryside and built using local stones. Whilst the interiors feature a bright, traditional design that complements Tuscan tradition.

Hotel Le Fontanelle is decorated with antique furniture creating a warm and inviting ambience. Each of the 25 rooms is completed with terracotta tiled floors. Beamed ceilings all offering views of the Sienese landscapes. The overall interiors are distinguished by a burgundy color that is purposely reminiscent of the region’s Chianti wine.

Adding to the visual language of the interiors, the Tuscan experience is enhanced by the Hotel’s in-house amenities like the signature “Restaurant La Colonna”. Chef Daniele Canella offers a modern menu that inventively complements trademark Italian products including black truffle, Vin Santo and home-made Tortelli, which guests can also enjoy whilst gazing at the Chianti hills from the restaurant’s “Belvedere Terrace”. Additional amenities include a living area with private library, fireplace and piano; a Lounge Bar and Wine Shop featuring esteemed local wines; an outdoor panoramic swimming pool and a state of the art Wellness Centre.

The Hotel has 25 rooms divided into five categories and features a refined typical Tuscan design.
