What do you eat for breakfast on LCHF? This is one of the most common questions from beginners, but sometimes experienced LCHF eaters want new inspiration too.

Here's the second breakfast idea from Fanny Lindkvist, who runs a popular Swedish blog and the Instagram account LessCarbs (now at 12k followers and growing quickly). Her recipes are deliciously simple and this is a good example.

Salad Sandwiches with Ideas for Toppings

It isn't necessarily difficult to have sandwiches without bread! Choose a lettuce variety that is crisp and firm, preferably romaine or cosmopolitan lettuce. Rinse the lettuce thoroughly and use as a carrier for the toppings. In the picture I used the following:

Ingredients

● 3 leafs cosmopolitan lettuce
● Butter
● Cheese slices
● Avocado
● Dried meat
● Tomato

Other great toppings are tuna salad and eggs.

The nutrient calculation is of course very approximate, depending on topping choices and amounts.
