With the last GOP debate scheduled to take place at the Venetian, here are 3 questions we’d like to see asked.
- “What would you do for a donation from Venetian owner Sheldon Adelson? If it involves singing and dancing on this gaudy stage, you might not just get a donation, but your own show here at the Venetian.”
- “What country is Venice really in? Extra points if you can name what country the Venetian’s Tao Bar is themed after. Even more points if you can figure how someone designed such an apparently random-themed building.”
- “If you were just laughing at the inconsistencies of the theme of this building, have you seen the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City? It’s presumably modelled after the Taj Mahal, which if we may quote Wikipedia – “is widely recognized as ‘the jewel of Muslim art in India.‘” So if a casino can commemorate Trump and Muslim art in 2015, then a casino can really put a wide range of themes together, apparently.
