New laser welding machine to be manufactured in Lantec for automotive industry component production.
This new laser welding machine is able to manufacture components for automotive industry by butt joining aluminum tubes of 1 + 0.6 mm thick .
Concept is based on a circular transfer onto which the operator loads both components. Then both components are assembled automatically.
After assembly a 1 Kw fiber laser provided with two process fiber, beam switch, and two welding heads assembled on both electric lineal axis for different versions and sizes are in charge of producing the seam.
Welding speed is reaching good results at 10 mm per second, gas assisted and 0.25 of spot size.
