Laneige Sparkling Party Holiday Collection 2014

By Blessmybag @blessmybag

I haven’t been turned on by a good holiday set in ages, that’s until Laneige global Korean makeup artist Cat Koh demonstrated the use of this particularly fabulous one with glee.  I saw, I liked, they gave and that was that.

Happy Day since it is limited edition (while supplies last, and they only brought in a little over a hundred of these…or so they say)!  Seriously pretty and exquisitely done rosy sparkle is about to float your boat, and the packaging…sigh.  Click Read More and see for yourself!  You’ll also see close up photos of me trying these out.

So much prettily dainty but at the same time modern detail in one super chic holiday set!  On top of that they don’t just look good, they are good.

I’m head over heels for the Water Drop Tints (two shades leftmost) which are their hydrating and easily blendable lip and cheek tints, which are easily I say, a locally available Asian dupe for the Daniel Sandler watercolour range.  The difference with these tints/stains is they’re hydrating, easy to blend, and by some miracle they stay on for more than half the day.  Neon Pink and Rasperry Pink are limited edition holiday shades if I’m not mistaken but there is a whole permanent range of Water Drop Tints at Laneige.

Last but not the least is this unique sparkling dust duo.  They are eyeshadow but the glitter is a different sort, it’s kind of like the Estee Lauder gelee eyeshadows which you can press into like a cushion, halfway between a powder and a foiled sort of cream.  They go on nicely but if you sweat a lot or have oily lids an eye primer or eye base would help keep these on.  They are talking points when you have them on your eyes, even Liz of ProjectVanity.com asked what I was wearing yesterday and she just had to swatch it since I had it with me.  I wore gold sparkle.

This set is super duper great.  I’m left quite speechless after completing this entire post.  I’ll be getting a lot of use out of this come Christmas.  Remember, these are available as limited edition sets, and LANEIGE don’t have a lot of stock on hand, Php1650 is pretty good value for a set as beautiful as this.  Go on to your nearest Laneige outlet and get one for yourself or a friend as a present!
