Lady Lamb Releases “bird Balloons” [stream]

Two days ago, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper (Brooklyn’s Aly Spaltro) released her second single off of Ripely Pine, her debut LP. The song, ‘Bird Balloons,’ dates back nearly as long as Lady Lamb herself, and has evolved immensely since her Bedroom Recordings days. As Spaltro said on Facebook, “In my whole life I had never felt freer than the late night I belted it for hours on end until I knew without a doubt that it was alive and in the world, no pen to paper.” Listen to ‘Bird Balloons’ above and ‘Rooftop’ here, and keep an eye out for Ripely Pine, out February 19th.
