Lady Gaga’s Louis Vuitton Wheelchair

By Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

Celebrities are often spotted around town with the finest in fashion and handbags, and other accessories. Now that Lady Gaga is recovering from hip surgery, she has been spotted rolling around in a couple of luxury wheelchairs. In addition to her 24 karat gold-plate one, the singer now has an LV wheelchair. It features the Louis Vuitton iconic monogram canvas.

The famous Lady Gaga had been wheeling about in the custom-made Mordekai gold-plated wheelchair specially designed for her by Ken Borochou. Resembling a living room chair, it had a thickly-padded black leather seat. The LV wheelchair appears much more portable.

The singer was spotted in Chicago out celebrating her early April birthday. She turned 27 last Thursday. She and boyfriend Taylor Kenny have been in the windy city while he is working on the set of Chicago Fire, a drama being filmed for NBC.

The couple was seen out Friday night celebrating with a night on the town and later at a McDonald’s drive-through. The singer was dressed in red and cuddled up in a warm black coat. She was a bit slumped over, perhaps because of her condition, a cocktail of pain medication, or both.

One source reports that the couple celebrated earlier Thursday evening with a quiet dinner at Spiaggia, an Italian ristorante on the city’s famous Michigan Avenue. They then enjoyed some time at Richard’s Bar and ended up later at Polekatz, a nearby gentlemen’s club.

Confined to a wheelchair since February after surgery for a labral tear in her hip, the singer had to cancel the rest of her Born That Way Ball tour. The question now is whether or not the Louis Vuitton wheelchair was custom-made for her as well.

The famous French brand does not appear to market wheelchairs along with their leather goods and other accessories on the fashion runways.
