"Beautiful vintage reproduction (1976) Card, suitable for framing. LA BATAILLE from LE JARDIN DES CARESSES first published 1914. These were reproduced in 1976 on heavy postcard weight stock paper and are part of the Connoisseur Collection. LA BATAILLE from LE JARDIN DES CARESSES is #11. Card measures 8 1/2" x 5 3/4". iLLUSTRATOR Leon Carre, 1878-1942, a French Orientalist illustrator . Leon Carre did Illustrations for Arabian Nights, The book of a Thousand Nights and One night, Tarrot Cards and more. The cards are absolutely gorgeous! In very good condition except for tiny 1/8" X 1/4" water mark near the bottom on the edge. If framed it will be out of sight. Will be beautiful matted, framed and hanging on your wall or group with my other LE JARDIN DES CARESSES series cards for a spectacular wall hanging."
