Today I'm reviewing a very gorgeous lipstick from L'Oreal Paris India named "Pure Reds Collection", that contains 7 hues of red lipsticks chosen by the iconic brand ambassadors.

My experience with the product

The L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Pure Red Lipsticks comes in 7 different hues of red lip colors chosen exclusively by the brand ambassadors. The packaging is almost similar to L’Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipsticks - comes in glossy black lipstick casing which is signed by the shade’s ambassador. The packaging is quite sleek and classy. The cap shuts tightly and would not come up in my bag easily.I just can't stop adoring the whole look. One can pretty well identify each shade - by the color coded buttons on the opening wand.

The texture of the lipsticks are very soft, creamy, melt on the lips and glides effortlessly on lips without tugging or pulling. These absolutely glides on like butter and settles into a matte finish - but does not dry out the lips. It does not accentuate dry/flaky bits, rather lips stay hydrated for long. The pigmentation is great and a single swipe gives opaque coverage and cover-up pigmented lips quite well. I absolutely adore the wear time of these lip colors, 6-7 hours (I haven't tested more than this) and do surpasses light meals/snacks. When it wears off - it leaves soft stain of color on the lips that can easily be removed through a cleansing oil/makeup remover. The color does not bleed outside lip line, but do apply a lip liner beneath to combat staining of lips.

The price is on the higher side but with such amazing quality and texture one can easily avoid the price tag.

Pure Garnet is the official shade by Sonam Kapoor - This is hands down one the best shade I own till date! Though it appears brown in bullet - when applied on lips it gives a gorgeous deep wine color with strong red undertones. An absolute fall shade that would brighten up your complete look. You can apply this directly from the tube or use a brush for soft wash of color. Would definitely suit almost every complexion.

You can pair this with a winged liner, bold smokey eyes for that absolute sultry look or kohl lined eyes for a sensual look - a lipstick with which you can create a number of looks with ease.

Overall, I am a sucker of red lip colors and there's a red for every complexion and I bet you wouldn't feel satisfied by owning just a single shade!

My other favorites being -Pure Vermeil (a red toned peach), Pure Amaranthe (a bright pink almost similar to L'Oreal Infallible Forever Fuschia) and Pure Rouge (a neutral toned bright red).Rating : 4.75/5
