The speculation of Kristen Stewart being dropped from the sequel of “Snow White” is like any other rumor its just speculation. Universal studios co-chair Donna Langley announced on MTV News today that no such action as dropping Stewart has been made for the sequel. She said, “We are extremely proud of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and were currently exploring all options to continue the franchise, any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false”.

The reports by The Hollywood Reporter said that the sequel would be focused on the Huntsman, played by Chris Hemsworth. This is an odd statement because in the original adaption, the story wasn’t dark and gloomy and there was no main character of a huntsman. Even though Stewart and Sanders had an affair it doesn’t mean that any decisions were made for them being dropped. However, the public doesn’t know whether Sanders will return to the sequel. The first film made over $350 million dollars worldwide.

In an interview with MTV News Stewart said that playing the princess stuck a nerve with her. Stewart said, “She’s got very little life experience. She feels such strong things and can’t say exactly why she feels those things, and I can completely relate to that”. From all of Stewart’s statements she loved the character and with all the rumors of her not playing the character in the sequel is questionable.
