Kishi Bashi Releases Sweet Beirut Cover [stream]

Kishi Bashi, who made our favorite album of 2012, just released a cover of Beirut’s “A Sunday Smile.” He slows the pace a bit and replaces the horns with strings, then gives us a one-minute outro to, well, show off. He’s allowed! We all know Kishi Bashi owns that violin. According to the information on the song’s Soundcloud page, this is the B Side of the first of three exclusive vinyl singles being taken from 151a.
