I’m ok with both canines and felines – I can’t possibly pick between Pancake and Boo. I know some people deem pugs as adorable too, but somehow, everytime I look at them, I have a sudden urge to do Botox. I’m loving this! I’m quite surprised that I didn’t get this earlier,
- The pump system is hygienic – no dirty grubby fingers contaminating the remaining cream in the bottle.
- The pump also has a twist-lock system similar to the Clarins White Plus Emulsion, so there’s no accidental dispensing of product if you, like me, are a klutz and are prone to jamming down the cap onto the pump.
- The cream is relatively lightweight and comes with very fine micro-granules of Vitamin C (I’m assuming?), which will dissolve once you rub it into your skin.
- There’s a gentle warming sensation as the product is absorbed, and for me, there are some splotches of red on the skin (which shows that the product is working its magic). Note that this symptom is for my skin and not representative of everyone’s skin.
- There’s barely any scent (as with most Kiehl’s products).
- Once it’s absorbed, there’s a very slight but negligible feeling of stickiness left on the surface of the skin.
- I also applied it onto my neck, and I’m secretly hoping to get rid of the lines. Will update if it does work.
- P.S. I received some pretty good consultation advice during my time at Kiehl’s, but I can’t remember it now… so I apply it after my IOPE Bio-Essence Intensive Conditioning and my Comedone Formula.
I’ve been using this for several weeks now, and although there’s been no miracle, my skin does feel firmer and is slightly more radiant. It might be my mind at work, but I’m pretty sure 1 or 2 very fine lines at the nasolabial fold have disappeared. Perhaps this could be due to the 10.5% vitamin C ingredient. ooh. Impressive I say.
