Kids Crafts:Foam Butterfly

By Smilinglikesunshine @smilinglikesuns
My daughter loves watching Mr. Maker on CBeebies. She has been asking to make the foam butterflies he had featured so the other day we finally got round to making them.
Here is what you need:
Pieces of kitchen foam
A straw
Scissors,glue and sticky tape
Fold a rectangle shaped piece of kitchen foam in half. Cut out half a butterfly shape.
Then snip down into the top of the straw and pull two bits apart to make the butterfly's antennae.
Stick the antennea on the the butterfly with sticky tape. Finally, cut shapes out of the other pieces of kitchen foam and stick them on the butterfly to make colourful and lovely!
