Keukenhof, The Netherlands

By Michelle Jr @abeeandtoe

I took so many pictures whilst I was at Keukenhof, when it came to selecting the ones that made it into this post, I didn’t really know where to start.

Keukenhof is a park of over 32 hectares in Lisse, The Netherlands.  Each year they plant 7 million bulbs and as you can imagine, it is amazing.

The traffic getting to and from Keukenhof was not good, which is an indication of just how busy it is. Boon and I spent almost five hours wandering around and we didn’t manage to see everything it had to offer. Plus I made the mistake of going into one of the greenhouses and unfortunately my body then decided it had, had quite enough of all the pollen!

As well as beautiful flowers to look at, there is a windmill to explore, a boat trip, a maze and a petting zoo.  There are also lots of shops and carts to get food and drink and souvenirs from.

So, here are just some of the pictures…
