New Leicester band of brothers Lusts have scored a hit with their debut single, “Sometimes”. Maintaining a serious lack of presence on every part of the internet, Lusts have created a tune infectious enough to spread on its own. “Sometimes” is endearingly simple. Like The Vaccines with a hint of Echo and The Bunnymen, this Brit-rock gem chugs along with a subtle intensity for all three minutes. “Sometimes” emanates a sense of longing as a shimmer of synth peeks through the new wave guitar lines and wails of, “Your’e playing all my minds/I want you by my side.” With such a promising start, there is hopefully more coming soon from Lusts.
