K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner (Super Black) Review

By Ireviewuread

Abracadabra, your magic wand is here!

Today we are going to talk about one of the makeup essentials for the asian girls, the typical black liner. Be it you are using gel, pencil or liquid, it is a trend these days to have a thin layer of black line on your eyelids; Assisting in enlarging and lengthing our small eyes.

For myself, I would normally choose to use a liquid liner for I feel that it’s easier to apply; Plus it gives one a clean finish. With that, this post’s review would be on, K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner (Super Black)

K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner (Super Black)  is basically a brush tip waterproof liquid eyeliner. What I personally like about brush-tip liners are their ease of use. Adopting it like how you would utilize a brush in art class, all you have to do is to replicate your lash line. At the end of the line, you can do a simple cat eye by extending the line or drawing a triangle at the end.

For more ways on how to use a liquid eyeliner, do watch this video:

Psst. I personally learn how to do my frequently used cat eye via this video. Thanks Michelle Phan!

Do remember if you fail the first few times, don’t be afraid to try and try again. You’ll get the hang of it. As they always say, Practice makes perfect!

As seen from the description of K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner (Super Black)* this eyeliner vowed these three characteristics:

  1. Moisturize the skin around your eyes
  2. Promote eye lash growth
  3. One Stroke Perfect Line

*I honestly don’t get the difference between Black and Super Black, I mean aren’t they both black?

Aside from that, the 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner also gives you the alternative to have a flat brush or a sharp brush just by rotating the pen.

Here’s my final look with K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner (Super Black). Sorry for the unsightly lashes, totally forgot to curl them before rushing out that day.

My verdict: All in all I like the idea of how one can have the option of having two kinds of brush just by slightly rotating the pen; Makes it easier for beginners to draw a cat liner. Kudos to their moisturizing factor for it does help in keeping the corners of my eyes feel more refreshed and hydrated.

What I had spotted about the 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner is, as Black Super Black as it may have claimed to be, this eyeliner does not fulfill it’s requirement of being a one stroke perfect liner. One have to touch up their “One Stroke” with some other liner just because this particular eyeliner emphasis the lash regrowth area - the area right above your lashes / at your lash line - which causes dots in your liner on your eyelids. Ok I’m just particular about such things.

One factor I would like to applaud about the K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner (Super Black) is, it does live up to it’s name. I am always very impressed and happy whenever I come back from a long day out and still see the eyeliner in place. Although the liner does not budge, it’s not exactly oil proof. It does smudge and transfer when I smile widely* - this happens very often - which cause my cat liner to smudge downwards. In case, you have no idea what I’m talking about, please refer to the picture on my side bar or on my About Me page where corner of my eyes fold towards each other when I smile.

*It’s also the reason to why I am destined (if not already) to have crows feet.

K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner (Super Black) Review

Overall, I would give K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner (Super Black) 3 and a half IreviewUread Smiles. It’s creative 2-in-1 brush idea, ease of use and long-lasting capabilities does make a good selling point. However, not being able to fulfill the details of my “eyeliner drawing” expectations and not being oil-proof does let it’s ratings drop.
