Just Herbs FAIR'E mulethi-Khus skin lightening gel

I have had this affinity for Just Herbs since the day I was introduced to the brand with its product- Just Herbs Fagel Gel. Since then Just Herbs has booked a permanent slot in my skin care regime.

Herbal and Chemical free products has been always been my first picks and Just Herbs lives up to the expectations- not only by ingredients but its results too.

Today I will be reviewing Just Herbs FAIR'E skin lightening gel with Mulethi and Khus for oily to combination skin. (INR 545 for 50 gms). Available on the company website and other online stores too.

I have acne prone oily to combination skin which goes erratic during summers and my cystic acne never leaves me alone even in winters at times. While I was using Just Herbs Plump Up day gel during the day for hydration and anti ageing effects, needed something light and targeted to remove acne spots and blemishes with hydration for night. I got hold of this FAIR'E. While reading about this on site, you will find these details-

A blend of exotic natural extracts of wonder herbs, this light textured gel helps to fade away dark patches and spots. Indian herbs Fumittory and Manjishtha help detoxify the blood and boost circulation to fade freckles and skin discolorations, while liquorice and yellow zedoary help control the melanin producing mechanism triggered by inflammatory response of the skin to exposure of sun's UV rays. Vetiver roots promote skin regeneration and rejuvenate the sun damaged skin cells for a visibly fairer and radiant skin.

Just Herbs FAIR'E mulethi-Khus skin lightening gel

I had purchased it long back but somehow could not gather my views about this (probably the reason that in between I was quite irregular with it) and now its been long time using this I can share my views.

The Just Herbs FAIR'E gel comes in classy tub pack with a golden screw cap and inner protective lid. You can find ingredient and usage details on the label. This is a skin coloured thick gel with a strong sweet aroma - somewhat similar to pan masala;you will find the comparison weird but I could not find a better description for the fragrance (smile).

The gel though seems thick but once applied sinks in within next few minutes, a little massage strokes helps. The gel spreads well and hence a little less than a half coin size is enough. Just wash your face with Just herbs Silksplash or a mild cleanser like Himalaya Neem face Wash and apply the gel on damp skin. I usually follow this routine during nights. since they have proscribed sun exposure post application and moreover its nest time for treatment product to work as cell renewal and repair is faster during this time. There is an immediate cooling sensation due to the khus grass & Cucumber extracts helps in calming rashes/inflammations.

The Gel worked well on my oily-acne prone skin. I could see healthy glow on my face in mornings. My pores were little shrunk and my skin plumped. It did not break me out either nor had any side effects. While my acne spots and blemishes- could not see something major but yes my skin tone was little improved.

This was my summer story but with winters approaching, I found a pleasant surprise that my skin was getting normal and had same dryness which I used to have in my teens (credit goes to something amazing I am using these days, will share later). So this gel was not sufficient as my dry patches were there as it is. Needed something more nourishing, obviously!

Overall Just Herbs FAIR'E mulethi-Khus skin lightening gel surely hydrates and nourishes skin and is a great option for oily-combination skin but cant expect much for skin lightening while people with dry skin would need something more to provide moisturisation. Recommended for Oily-acne prone skin!
