Just A Little Obsessed With Korean Sheet Masks

By Sparklingker @sparklingker

Hiya Bloggie Friends! It’s been 3 months since my last blog post, kudos to everyone who’s still around!

If you follow me on instagram, you would have seen my adventures in Japan (again) and Korea. Japan is one of those countries where there is so much to do and see. We literally had ramen almost everyday for 2 weeks while we were there. We even queued up hour and half for some ramen joints. Everything we ate were delicious.

Korea too was awesome. We traveled to Busan, Jeju and Seoul. Seoul was by far my favorite city in Korea (probably because of all the skincare and makeup stores every where). Our hotel was located right in the middle of Myeongdong, one of the biggest shopping district in Seoul. I was constantly lured into stores with shop assistants waving free Korean sheet masks in my face. Being the sucker I am, I fell right into their trap. Initially I wanted to purchase only a few from each store just to try it out but then I realised stores in Korea encourage buying in bulk (ie buy 10 get 10 free). To reap the bargains, that’s what I did bought larger quantities. The sheet masks price in Korea ranges from $0.60 to $1.20AUD per mask which is really good compared to what’s being sold in Sephora Australia.

Korean Sheet Masks

Who would of thought sheet masks were so heavy?? It added extra 5kg of weight to my baggage, luckily we flew Cathay Pacific and had 30kg. The stores I mainly shopped at were Etude House, The Face Shop, Missha, Nature Republic, Tony Moly, Olive Young (for Dr Jart+) and Innisfree. So far the only ones I’ve used are Tony Moly x Pokemon sheet masks. I bought them when we first arrived in Korea and used them almost daily. Being on so many flights this trip, I found it has really helped my skin maintain hydration.

I also bought two boxes of mask from Japan as well, haven’t started using them yet so not much to talk about it yet.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed my Korean sheet mask stash! Are you a fan of sheet mask?

Everything purchased with my own $$.
