June Long Weekend

While we were away up north with the Grandtwins +1 we introduced them to the ice on the car on the frosty mornings...BUT if there was frost up there what was happening in Scarecrow's Garden down in frostyland????
This is what happened...


The trial Potato patch, although well covered, still got frost burn which it may recover from as the plants are still alive..

The Yacon which was flowering last week...well isn't flowering anymore!

The last few ripening tomatoes, well...at least the fruit is still ok!

We had a great time with the Grandtwins...in their sandpit, on the slippery-dip, watching the birds in the trees and finding creatures...a Preying Mantis and a sleepy Bearded Dragon!
