I’m the proud owner of about 30 black dresses (I have honestly lost count). I just love my black dresses and even though each is different in its own way, I do get asked (by my husband and a couple of close friends) if I ever get bored! I love that there is a story behind every piece and that really is more than just marketing lingo. I spent a good while on the Jord website because they explain where the wood is sourced from and give you more information about each kind of materials used for their range of watches (There’s Ebony, Koa, Zebrawood, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Purpleheart, Maple and Bamboo). They tell you about the grain/texture, sustainability and even the average tree height etc. I just love it when there’s a whole story behind the product and we’re invited and drawn into the narrative.
So back to my Jord Cora Maple & Silver…
My husband helped me pick the Jord Maple & Silver from the Cora series and part of the decision (it was a hard choice, trust me) was because I thought the silver tones make it very classic and neutral (I’m all about the neutrals), easy to match and accessorize and very fitting for my skin tone as well. As with other Jord watches, this ones comes with a 1 year limited warranty. Jord also recommends for the natural wood of the watch to be cleaned with Lemon or Orange oil extract.
I have gotten so many compliments about how unique my Jord watch is. A wood watch, and a very well made one at that, is not very common and is great as a conversation starter. If you want an accessory that turns heads, has a unique story behind it, and above all, has exquisite workmanship along with excellent quality, Jord watches definitely ticks the boxes.
