Probably one of the sweetest men on television has left our world. On September 15, beloved General Hospital actor John Ingle passed away at the age of 84. Sine 1993, Ingle played Edward Quatermaine on the popular soap opera, General Hospital. Ingle made his last appearance on General Hospital last week, during the poisoned water story line. After losing his wife of 58 years, Grace-Lynne, earlier this year on February 11 2012, many GH fan’s did not believe Ingle would return to the show, and that we had all seen the last of Edward Quatermaine. Fortunately, that was not the case and we were able to see John Ingle play the role of Edward Quatermaine a few more time before he sadly left us.
