It was just days before Christmas when Nick and Kiersten tied the knot and the holiday spirit was high! The couple's love for the holiday brought together this festive celebration. The twinkling of lights in technicolor and the couple's happy faces are undeniably seen in their wedding photos beautifully shot by Aaron Hogan. What an inspiring wedding. We're All About the Details
Instead of a regular grooms cake, Nick opted for a "brownie" cake which was delicious and was easy for guest to grab and snack on throughout the reception.
Since the wedding was just a few days before Christmas, they made personalized ornaments for their guests to take home. Some were decorated and others were signed and had the wedding date on them so guests could choose whichever they preferred.
The huge LOVE marquee sign was placed under a beautiful oak tree between the ceremony and reception sites. It was a great way to tie the two places together and made a great backdrop for pictures!
Here are Some Tips!
- Getting married so close to Christmas meant that our venue was already decorated for the holidays. Nick and I both LOVE Christmas so it was perfect for us and we were able to have some additional decorations for free!
- If possible, have the same photographer take your engagements, bridals, and wedding day photos. Aaron was able to get to know us throughout the year which helped relieve stress for us and helped him to be able to really capture our personalities in our photographs on our wedding day.
- Having a planner was one of the best decisions I made! They guided me through the entire process, kept me on track, and made things simple and painless from start to finish. Without them, I would not have been able to make my dreams for my wedding day a reality.
