True Blood’s Janina Gavankar is probably one of the most versatile people I’ve ever met. I knew when I interviewed her a couple of years ago that she would never lose her energy to imagine her creativity; she’s a truly renaissance woman. She loves technology, music and acting and I’m sure much more, too.
Since leaving True Blood, Janina’s now in the new TV series, The Mysteries of Laura, but has also been in two upcoming film projects. She has never given up her music and she now has a new music video where she reimagines Martin Garrix’s EDM single “Don’t Look Down” featuring Usher. By returning to her music roots, her vision and arrangement included 50 members of The Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps to turn this song on its head.
