The much anticipated lineup for the 2017 edition of Lucknow Music in the Fields was announced this morning. Leading the 2017 lineup are Jake Owen, Tom Cochrane and Red Rider and Tim Hicks.

Also part of the lineup for this summer's event, to be held in Lucknow Ontario from August 24-26, are Cold Creek County, The Washboard Union, Meghan Patrick, River Town Saints, Alee and Genevieve Fisher.

Lucknow's Music in the Fields was born from an idea in 2008 to have a world class festival with a small town feel in Lucknow, ON. Situated at the Lucknow Kinsmen soccer fields, with camping space provided by local landowners, organizers were able to offer a festival/camping experience. The event has grown from 1200 patrons in 2009 to over 8000 in recent years, supporting by an expanding village of campers.

In late 2015 organizers were presented with an opportunity to purchase a farm in Lucknow. Initially in 2016 the area was used for camping and after much work and improvements organizers are planning to move the festival/camping experience to what they affectionately call Graceland as an ode to the former owner Grace Hopf.

The Lucknow Kinsmen are a completely non-profit community organization and all monies raised by initiatives like this go to support charities, hospitals, schools, local and regional projects that help keep small town Ontario small town but with a big town feel. With your help going into our 9th year they have been able to donate in excess of 1 million dollars.

Tickets for the 2017 are just $169.50 for a full weekend pass.
