-Okay...someone's listening to me! The Season 2 premiere of Orphan Black on BBC America doubled it's viewers vs. last year. Sure the number is still relatively low, but it went from 391,000 viewers to 620,000 viewers and with the 2 replays was up to 785,000 viewers. On Twitter, it was the top program Saturday night generating 43,000 Tweets. Every article that I've read gives away the key plot point. I refuse to discuss. You guys could still get on board and I don't want to ruin it for you. Jump on the bandwagon...I swear you'll thank me the way I thanked Brett Blattman who practically forced me to watch it.
THE SHOWS
Nurse Jackie I'm on the fence. I liked Jackie a lot when she was a drug addict the first time around, and I admit, she was boring when she got sober. Now that she's back to popping pills, she's causing me anxiety. The stress with her and the kids, the stress of her trying to find a new dealer and the stress of keeping it all secret is just too much. We know that her bf is going to be devastated when he finds out that she's not only on pills again, but is doing nasty things in the bathroom at the secret square dancing place to get them.  That scene freaked me out. I thought we were in the clear when she walked away from the skeevy pharmacist and called her sponsor, but the square dancing place was too easy. On the lighter side, everything is broken in the hospital, Coop is now a sperm donor, and Akilides is having a mid-life crisis.

Lindsay Lohan Finale Lindsay's life is too odd. It's too big and too strange and even though I just spent 6 or 7 weeks watching it all I'm not sure I know what to make of it all. I can't really get past the lateness, the chaos, the shear quantity of mistreated clothes, shoes and bags, Matt the assistants hair, the lack of responsibility, and her inability to do anything by herself. I don't really believe anything coming out of her mouth. She said that her sex partner list was part of her Betty Ford "sexual inventory" step. I googled that and couldn't find that step anywhere. Also, the newest revelation that she had a miscarriage??? I can't even begin to believe that one. Through it all, I don't hate Lindsay. I feel sorry for her. I hope she watched her show and used it to get it together both personally and professionally.

THE OTHER STUFF

- I totally understand renewing Veep for another season, but how did HBO determine that Silicon Valley was worthy renewal too? Nobody I know is watching it. You guys say you aren't. How did they make this decision after only 3 episodes?  I would have pulled the plug on this one, but maybe they know something I don't? Maybe a super hot geek gets added to the cast and saves the show? I don't know. I gave it 3 episodes and was out. I'm not going back unless Zac Efron and his abs do a guest spot and develop a new algorithm too.

-WOW! Netflix added 4 million subscribers in 1st quarter. Way more than anyone expected  and way more than they did last year in 1Q. As of now they have 46 million paying subscribers worldwide, 34.3 million in the US. For anyone who hasn't jumped on the Netflix bandwagon yet, bad news…prices for new customers are going up to $8.99 a month. The price of procrastination I guess. I hope that Kevin Spacey gets a free subscription or some sort of thank you. I'm thinking he and the 2nd season of House of Cards had something to do with all of these new subscribers.

-Craig Zadan and Neil Maron will once again be produce the Oscars. This'll be their 3rd shot. Hopefully they'll team back up with Ellen, do another selfie and maybe think Chinese food instead of pizza?
