On the days I'm not working, consumed with homework, working, or doing my graphic design; you can find me at my mother's law office helping with odds and ends. Having to be presentable at her office is a huge thing and business casual won't cut it. I'm thankful I picked up dresses like this over the summer so that I can help communicate the professionalism she expects at her practice. But despite the business dress clothing, I can still have fun with the jewelry and lip color. The red lip color is one I received from Mary Kay over the summer as a sample. It's been one of my favorite go to colors because of the hint of orange it offers. The Baublebar necklace is was the perfect accenting piece to bring out the red lips and add color to the otherwise plain navy and beige of the dress. Accessorizing can be the best way to communicate who you are to your peers and cliental when a dress code is required. The same applies for going to class at Liberty. With the dress code, I have to be wary of what I'm picking out in the morning. Thankfully the dress code isn't too outlandish but I don't buy many skirts because of it unless they are to the knee (then they would just sit in the back of my closet collecting dust.) I'm so excited to be able to share these young professional outfits with y'all and share how to properly dress in a business setting. xoBCC
