Happy Monday folks!! A few weeks ago, the lovely people at Irresistible Me asked if I wanted to try out their hair extensions and I was like HECK YEAHH. I’ve always wanted to try hair extensions but have been too indecisive about which to purchase.
Irresistible Me offers two types of hair extensions: Silky Touch (starting at $79) and Royal Remy (starting at $129). The difference between the two is that Royal Remy is softer and has finer hair. Royal remy is the highest quality hair extensions available. Because they are human hair, you can colour, wash and dye them.
I was umming and ahhing at which length to choose and finally decided on the 24 inch Royal Natural Black. My natural hair is already quite long (I think about 20-22 inches) and it made sense to go slightly longer. Although the longest length offered by Irresistable Me is the 24 inch.
I thought shipping would take about two weeks because it was shipped directly from China but I was so surprised that it arrived within a week via Fedex. The hair extension came in a smallish black box and inside contained a two part zip lock bag. The left side is where the hair extensions are located and on the right contained one piece of weft. The right side of the bag serves two purposes, one to make sure it’s the right hair color and two the length is what you expected. If you don’t feel like it’s the right one for you, you can return it back to Irresistible Me as long as you don’t open the left side of the bag.
The Royal Remy in 24 inch (200g) comes with 10 pieces:
- 1 with 4 clips
- 2 with 3 clips
- 5 with 2 clips
- 2 with 1 clip
This combination allows you to add as much or as little as you need to create the look desired. By adding a few pieces of extensions, it can instantly transform lifeless boring hair to Victoria’s Secret hair. In the pictures below, I curled my hair first then curled the extensions separately and attached them on.
I did my homework on Youtube prior to the hair extension arriving and found it relatively easy to clip in. To clip in, simply bend the clip so it pops open and slide it into the hair and snap it closed to lock clip in hair. I usually use about 5-8 wefts and place them strategically around my head as I find it gives me the perfect amount of volume. I was swaying my hair side to side and did not have any issues with extensions falling out.
The texture of the hair was very similar to mine. I couldn’t distinguish my natural hair to the extensions. I almost forgot to say the color “Natural Black” is an identical match to my natural hair color (perfect for Asian hair colour).
Overall, I’m totally in love with these hair extensions. I’m not saying this because I was sent this but I genuinely believe so. Within the last 3 weeks of using these gorgeous extensions, I have experienced minimal fall out. From what I’ve read from other hair extension reviews, there are usually a lot of fall out and hair gets all knotted up which I did not encounter at all.
