Interesting Tea FactsWe Indians love tea. Every occasion and get together is filled with sipping of this fantastic drink. Every nook and corner is filled with vendors selling Tea with rates as low as Rs.5/-. So it is no wonder that it one of the favorite drinks of Indians.
 Tea had been used in India before the British arrived in the form of some traditional medicines. The arrival of the British gave it a commercial form in the manner of mass production by clearing large tracts of land for its cultivation.  
 Though India is one of the largest producers of tea it is interesting to note that 70% of its production is consumed within India.
