Instagram Meet up in Valencia (WWIM9_VLC)

 Follow us on Instagram here!  EN: This weekend was Instagram's anniversary, so in order to celebrate the local communities all around the world organized meet ups. I was suuuper lucky to attend the one hosted in Valencia (WWIM9_Vlc), which was organiced by ValenciaGram. And let me tell you it was pretty awesome. There was a touristic bus, loads of ice cold beer, nice weather, great opportunities to take marvelous photos. More beer and great company. Can you think of a better way to spend your Saturday afternoon? :)
ES: Este fin de semana fue el aniversario de Instagram y en todo el mundo las comunidades se reunieron para celebrarlo. Yo tuve la oportunidad de ir a la quedada que organizó ValenciaGram y he de decir que fue una pasada. Hubo bus turistic, mucha cerveza helada, un tiempo perfecto, fabulosas oportunidades para tomar fotos geniales. Más cerveza fría y la mejor compañía posible. Se te ocurre una mejor manera de pasar una tarde de sabado? :) This #instameetvlc has been a huge success!! A huge thanks to the @valenciagram team and to all the sponsors who've made this possible! ��✌️ A lil tour of the place. So many people! There were more than 100 people to signed up, but in the end we ended up being about 90, which is a pretty cool amout of people, right? :) Photos above are the same tower, left at 17.30 and right 21.10. Amazing right? This is "La torre de Santa Catalina" on "Plaza de la Virgen. A beautiful square which has some of the best monuments of Valencia.
  I'm in love with the decor of the whole place! Il Rosso Puerto have done an amazing job decorating the whole terrace to make it look super cute and cosy, yet keeping it classy. This flower arrangement and the vintage motorbike added a bit of a vintage feel to this cute corner. They were super friendly and invited us to a couple drinks, which was really nice of them! We set off from the Town Hall square (on the left) on a gorgeous double decker bus, ride courtesy of Valencia Bus Turistic (thanks to them as well!). The ride was really well planned and we got to see some of the best places in Valencia. We even managed to snatch some super cool photos from the bus! :)
As soon as we hopped onto the bus, we noticed a couple HUGE tubs filled with icecubes and BEERS! Wow, no idea how many of them there were, but let me tell you that we didn't manage to drink them all!!!! These were courtesy of Cerveza Amstel, doubtlessly the best Spanish beer! A massive thanks to them too! (See? I told you the sponsors had been pretty awesome! :)   Seriously, how dreamy can this place be? We'll definitely be going and having supper there some evening! We were incredibly lucky to have such a nice and warm day, it was pretty perfect! Also, we got to meet quite a few people who share our passion for social media and photography! Yay! Although Paris didn't come with us to the meet up (she had other plans), an Instagram post is never complete without some #petporn. And since this is my blog and I like doing as I please...
