All of the beautiful images on Instagram have me daydreaming of vacation on exotic and breathtaking locations. One place that has stuck in my mind is Santorini because of the May Farfetch Style Guide. The cobalt blue water and bright white architecture are stunning and calling my name! We vacationed at Cinque Terre, Italy in 2008 but never made it to Greece!

To settle my inner wanderlust, I took inspiration from Santorini for a dreamy vacation look with a white maxi dress and blue maxi twilly hair scarf. Of course, I had to wear some fun tassel statement earrings which just happen to be Mykonos turquoise! Have I mentioned that maxi dresses are my favorite? Just kidding! I sound like a broken record when it comes to maxi dresses!
THE STYLE Rx: Take it from Mother Nature that blue and white is a fabulous combination. Pair an all white outfit with a pop of blue ( as seen here too) or do the opposite and go for a cool blue hue with a touch of white!
To keep the pops of blue center stage, I wore gold sandals (a neutral in my book) and a straw bag. Even though we were in Fort Worth, I felt ready for a Greek Island Getaway!

We are headed to Seattle in July (tagging along with Mr. S on his work trip). It's not quite as exotic as Santorini, but it will still be marvelous. (I'm telling myself this because Mr. S will be at the conference most of the day when I'm with the littles!) If y'all know of any family friendly activities, then please let me know! I'm trying to "plan ahead".
