Inspiration from Alex: 2x Cancer & Obesity Survivor

By Beliteweight @BeLiteWeight

BeLiteWeight patient Alex P is by no means a stranger to first-class medical standards. Unfortunately having had, and successfully treated, two types of life-threatening cancers Alex has had several surgeries and procedures including chemotherapy and radiation treatment in Miami, Florida. Despite having received so much treatment in first-class American hospitals in Alex's latest letter to BeLiteWeight he thanked our team for providing an experience that was "just as good or better, than those we have in the United States." Alex was so impressed with our facilities, surgeons, and support staff that he composed a video and wrote a detailed letter for all potential surgical weight loss patients to watch and read before making their decision. We are proud to share them both!

"My name is Alexander P and I have been battling obesity for several years. I have tried many diets and shake replacement companies and even though I did have success with some of them, it is not a lifelong quest of mine to live off shakes for the rest of my life. I am also a two-time cancer survivor and happy to have survived both of my health scares. I have been researching weight loss surgery for several years now and I have attended a half dozen gastric surgery information seminars.

About two years ago, I came across be lite weight in a magazine ad and began to do my research on them. From the moment I first contacted Joanne, Jaime and the other company representatives, they've always answered and returned my calls promptly and answered every single question that I ever asked. They emailed me a list of past clients that had already had the gastric sleeve surgery abroad in Mexico and I was able to communicate with over twenty men and women to ask them questions about their experience with the company and their success with the surgery. Absolutely everyone that I spoke with told me that they wish they had had the surgery sooner and that I wouldn't regret my decision to utilize this company.

So, in September/October of 2016 my wife and I decided to pay our deposit and pick a date for our gastric sleeve surgeries, to be completed in Juarez, Mexico at the Star Medica Hospital. I have had several procedures in Miami, FL. My two cancer saving surgeries, foot surgery, along with chemotherapy and radiation. I can honestly say that our experience at the Star Medica Hospital was nothing short of amazing. The hospital is super clean, the staff is very friendly and there to help you at every turn.

We arrived into El Paso International Airport, picked up by a transportation company that works with the agency to transport us into Mexico and directly to the Hospital. We were received and checked in quickly and brought upstairs to our room. We had a quick check-up and were scheduled for our surgeries the same afternoon we arrived. Our surgeries took approximately 30-40 minutes and within two hours after surgery, we were both walking around the lobby of our floor to begin to release the gases in our bodies in order not to experience any blood clots. The food at the hospital was good for the two days that we were there. My father-in-law, who stayed with us in case we needed assistance, was also very impressed with the service we all received, including him at Star Medica. I would most certainly recommend Star Medica Hospital in Juarez, MX and the entire staff there, if you decide to have any of the gastric surgeries utilizing be lite weight for your procedure.

My wife and I are now entering our seventh month since our gastric sleeve surgery on December 8th, 2016. My wife has lost 75 lbs. and I have dropped 122 lbs. Prior to my surgery, I weighed 408 lbs. and I am now weighing in at 286 pounds and counting. I feel amazing and like everyone else before me, my only regret, is I wish I'd done the surgery earlier in my life. However, everything happens for a reason. I am very happy with our results and look forward to dropping a little more weight and reaching my goal of 260 pounds.

This surgery has completely changed our lives. We eat so much healthier now and have been able to get out of the house and experience so many different activities, that I struggled to enjoy in the past, due to my excessive weight. We will be able to travel abroad more often, knowing that we are much more physically fit and able to walk longer distances and enjoy a better quality of life, thanks to the amazing staff at "Be Lite Weight", especially Joanne and Jaime and the amazing Hospital staff at Star Medica Hospital in Juarez, MX.

Anyone out there thinking of having the gastric procedure done for them? I highly recommend you use Be Lite Weight as your agency and also decide to have your procedure done in Mexico. You will not regret your decision. The price is definitely right and much cheaper than the US and the doctors and medical staff are just as good or better, than those we have in the United States."
