A couple of months ago, one of my friends was hunting for a new smartphone. "What kind of smartphone do you want?" I asked him.

I couldn't help but remember his words when I gazed at the images of InFocus M810. I haven't seen it yet with my own eyes, but the device definitely looks like a stunner in the images that I have seen so far. M810 is a product of InFocus which is a US brand and is manufactured by Foxconn which is one of the leading consumer electronics manufacturing company (they manufacture iPhones, iPads and BlackBerry devices too, among others). The partnership between InFocus and Foxconn seeks to provide consumers with good quality devices at affordable prices.

I'll tell you about its specifications later. But as appearance is this phone's highlight, let's talk about that first. Well, this visual delight is not made up of cheap plastic. InFocus M810 has a metal and glass body. It has "hand-crafted matte metal" frame with a layer of glass over its back that gives it a delightful appearance. The shiny back radiates light. InFocus claims that the device has been fine-crafted like a premium watch. And to assert that, they have even designed the Power Button in the shape of a watch crown. Nice touch, don't you think? M810 is a big-screen and sleek looking smartphone. It has 5.5 inch display and measures 153.7 x 76.2 x 6.99mm. That is, it is only 6.99 mm thick. The front display and the back glass layer are fingerprint resistant. I do hope they have the durability of the Gorilla Glass, but I don't have any certain information about it yet. What I do know for certain is that this is definitely one device that I'm itching to hold in my hand and check out for myself.
