One of the such best resources are Fashion Weeks and shows that open a door to new styles and new names in fashion industry.India Kids Fashion Week (3rd edition) was one such event that thrilled parents, brought joy into kids glimmering eyes and designers' wouldn't have been as content before as they were with these kids walking the ramp with confidence and style in their creations.

Delhi holds its first edition of India Kids Fashion Week in association with Jabong Karisma Kapoor graced the ramp for the finale show by Kidology on day one
New Delhi, 28THFebruary,2015:The capital today witnessed its first ever India Kids Fashion Week 2015 at The Grand, Vasant Kunj. Now in its third edition, the India Kids Fashion Week 2015, a joint venture by Event Capital and Craftworld saw hundreds of kids walking the ramp with the crème-de-la-crème of fashion industry including ace designers and celebrities, after a successful 2 day extravaganza in Mumbai last weekend. On the inaugural day, actress Karisma Kapoor walked the ramp with the young ones for the Kidology show. The first day of India Kids Fashion Week 2015 Delhi saw exquisite creations showcased by BIBA, NONA by Medha Nanda, Sheena Creations, Kirti Rathore and Kidology.
Day 1 of India Kids Fashion Week 2015, Delhi was full of young talent. The young models parading around in trendy and colourful designer ensembles and edible organic make-up. The fashion extravaganza is a step towards understanding that the kids today are equally discerning and style conscious.
On this occasion, Mr. Manoj Mahla, Director of CraftWorld Events Pvt. Ltd said, “India Kids Fashion Week is happening in Delhi for the first time and we are exuberated with the response by the end of Day 1. It is overwhelming to see these super confident tiny tots walking with ramp with élan, already giving sleepless nights to their older counterparts.” Mr. Deepak Choudhary, Director & CEO, Event Capital said, “We would like to thank all the kids, their parents and all the talented designers for their support in making this event such a huge success. Day 1 of the Delhi leg has started on a high note and we hope Day 2 to be as exciting and impressive.”
The show started with Biba showcasing collection of their kids brand BIBA GIRLS. Their theme for IKFW was Magical Summer Collection.About the only thing that matches the magical quality of childhood is the summertime. The collection embodies finest colours of the season symbolizing a world in which everything is livelier and extraordinary. With fabrics, designs and motifs that live up to a girl’s imagination, it’s her perfect partner for summertime happiness .Supermodel Ms. Noinika Chatterjee walked the ramp for BIBA GIRLS.
Medha Nanda of NONA showcased her collection called LOTUS. The collection is a representation of three key facets – Rebirth, Purity and Enlightenment; everything the Lotus flower stands for.Ms. Ruhi Singh, Miss India humanity and peace, took the final walk of the show.
Sheena Creations, an online boutique for kids wear and accessories, presented a collection that juxtaposes New York chic with classic comfort. Young boys and girls were seen walking the ramp in a riot of colours mesmerizing the audiences. Femina Miss India World 2008, Parvathy Omanakuttan, graced the ramp with the kids. Kirti Rathore presented an exquisite display of the culture of Rajasthan – The land of Kings, through her collection. Inspired by the colourful festivals of Rajasthan and the liveliness of the city, their collection spoke for opulence and style in unique sherwanis. Doyale Dhawan of Atma fame opened her show while Jasbir Jassi walked as the showstopper for her show. Guests for her show saw the presence of Nasir Abdullah.
The finale of the evening was a grand show by Kidology where ace designers from the fashion fraternity showcased theory own interpretation of ‘Kid-o-logy’. While Gauri & Nainika presented ultra-feminine styles with old world charm dressing up little girls resonating their world of fairytales, Gaurav Gupta brought to the catwalk a collection that imbues eclectic mix of sophisticated yet fun. The collection featured a twist on tradition with the conventional lehenga turning into a gown in stunning colors teamed up with Gaurav’s signature embellishments. Siddhartha Tytler favoured interesting structures, bold colours, intricate embroidery, sharp cuts and of course a dash of bling.
The highlight of the evening was the resplendent actress and a svelte mother of two, Karisma Kapoor, walking the ramp and taking the final bow with the kids, offering a perfect closure to the Day 1 of Delhi’s first India Kids Fashion Week.
