In-Home Preschool?

By Hollyshaun0528 @TwinglesMom42
I'm tossing around the idea of running a part-time preschool program in my home over the summer this year. I thought it might be nice to offer a half-day educational program for 3-5 year olds, especially those who will be entering Kindergarten in the Fall so that I could help prepare them to begin formal school.
Depending on the level of interest I could generate, I considered charging $20 per day (so $100 per week). I'd like to have 8-10 children participate if possible.
So what I'm asking here is: Do you think this sounds reasonable? Do you think it's something worth pursuing? What suggestions do you have for making it work, if any?
We're desperately going to need to find some new ways to generate income with my husband being laid off in a few months so any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
Oh, and just for fun, here's a cute little craft I threw together today to go with our upcoming theme at work: Backyard Creatures. :)
