Image City Gallery Assignments [March 2017]

By Shattman
For this month’s assignment, we were to take photographs of things that are often not seen or ignored, although they may be in plain sight. The two images below were shot during a walk through a nearby neighborhood. Since both objects were well above eye level, I think most passersby would fail to notice them. The top figure is part of a water downspout on the side of an entrance to an apartment house. The column and ionic capital below belongs to a private dwelling.

This last image is that of the soap dispenser over our kitchen sink.   It is something I personally do not notice until my wife tells me that it needs a refill.
