Do you remember a time when you were so excited about starting a new journey? Whether it was a job or a relationship, there was a sense of “Hurry up and do it now” feeling. You were so gung-ho about it that you almost let logic go out the window!
You were so happy about it that you forgot to evaluate all the pro’s and con’s. Then right about the time you were going to jump in feet first, LOGIC slapped you in the face!
STOP NOW BEFORE YOU GO TO FAR!
As many times before, I almost made a mistake jumped too quickly but then I realized, the timing isn’t right.
I’m Talking About My Girly Parts
You’ve heard me say it over and over and yet I continue to push on.
Why?
- I don’t believe my reasons are valid enough
- The timing just doesn’t feel right
- I feel like I’m quitting just because I got stagnant
- I’m not ready to give up my Community
I’m Not Ready To Throw In The Towel Yet
My new journey with Just Like A Fine Wine, is not ready yet. I don’t believe the “wine” has cured enough for me to reveal it.
But this is a good thing! I have spent a long time trying to build a strong community of women where we can talk about everything under the sun. Some of us don’t talk, we read and listen. But this Community is stronger than we know.
The number of comments don’t prove the popularity of a blog, as we all know. Especially when you’re dealing with sensitive topics as we do on My Girly Parts. Some are afraid to open up and that’s ok.
Do you know that I get emails from people who enjoy reading my posts yet don’t want to publicly put their name out there?
The timing isn’t right.
There is still more life in My Girly Parts and once I re-evaluated it over the weekend and looked at my stats, I just can’t turn it off. I hope this makes you happy because it does me.
My Girly Parts is unique and I need to remember that. It’s not going to be huge like a social networking or self-help site. It is unique in its own way. You, my loyal readers and friends, have helped build My Girly Parts to what it is today.
I’m not giving up.
So, although you’ve heard me say it before, I’m not ending MGP at the end of the month. As a matter of fact, I have posts already scheduled for the next two weeks.
If you’ll have me and My Girly Parts, we would love to stay in your lives and love to have your continued support.
You help made us, you can help push us and grow. So the answer is NO. If you feel the timing isn’t right, please do not proceed.
