0Australian company Credit Card Finder created a smart purse, ideal for Shopaholics. The ibag locks itself automatically when there is a ”danger” or possible temptation to purchase something.So this prototype carryall automatically shuts tight at those times you’re most likely to shop.
iBag is equipped with a diode connected to the GPS device, which flashes when the owner gets lost in the so-called ”danger zone”, where shops simply lure consumers.
If you ignore the alarm light, bag automatically sends a text message to someone you trust with the warning,that ‘uncontrolled damage’ is going to happen.
Ibag locks itself in ”sensitive moments” – during a lunch break or when leaving work, and chip registers every time the owner pulls the wallet out of the bag.
Still in the prototype stage, iBag is primarily intended for women as they are, as pointed out by the inventors referring to the research, more likely to splurge on their credit card then men.
