Super SUPER sweet blog award… dessert in Chile
…for a wee blog award called Super Sweet Blog. I have never won anything in my life so thank you to Muffins and Mocha for nominating me. From here I’m supposed to pass the torch over and nominate my other favorite blogs which to be fair is something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile anyway.
Part of the reason I continue to stick with this blog, even when I do scrape by on just a couple of posts a month, is because I’m so inspired by a zillion other blogs out there that are infinitely cooler than mine in every. single. way. Here they are-
Basically I want Brenna’s life. She even makes apt use of a Jack Kerouac quote from a novel that I have repeatedly failed to read over and over- On the Road. Her photography alone is worth a peek but this girl really has been everywhere and her travel stories make mine look tame in comparison.
2. Unbrave Girl
One time in Seville I sat alone at a tapas bar reading Sally a.k.a Unbrave Girl’s hilarious yet practical advice for, well, life. Even though she’s not traveling right now Sally turns even the most mundane adventures into must read stories. Go, read, thank me later.
3. Twenty-something Travel
Twenty-something but this is a real grown up blog complete with advice for just about every situation and some pretty intense musings about whether the American dream is holding us back, and leading a discussion on her biggest travel disappointments. When I grow up I want a successful blog like this.
4. NZ Muse
Esther’s musings on all things finance, career, food and travel is the only non-travel specific blog I read. Esther’s intelligent thoughts about her goals, travel bucket list and intense financial budget make me feel like I’m failing miserably in the stable functioning adult category. She’s also a Kiwi like me which earns her extra brownie points.
