I found I lost my love for blogging a while ago because when I started out I wanted to be a beauty blogger and I personally couldn't really afford to keep buying new things to review...I felt like I couldn't keep up. I LOVE buying new make up and beauty things but I have realised that for me blogging is an outlet for me to meet new people and talk about all the things I love. So...for now, I'll post about whatever! I'm in a really good place right now with work and still with my lovely boyfriend after a year together so really happy. I hope all of you reading will enjoy what I put up :-)
I have become OBSESSED with nail art over the last few months and am actually doing a course in the summer for gel nails and brush art so I have been practising on my friend Heather who has gorgeous long nails. Mine flake and chip really easily and I have always had a long running battle with them so to have a nice canvas to paint on is lovely. This is my most recent design:
I used the Leighton Denny nail enamel in 'Honey Trap' and then used a Barry M paint pot for the leopard print (I can't remember which shade but it's a dark purple magnetic polish) and a black nail art pen for the spots. The studs I bought off ebay for about 50p which is a bargain. I personally love doing nails and it's something I think I'm really good at and would like to do more of. I'll start putting more of my designs up as and when I do them. If you have any requests for how to's when you see them feel free to leave a comment and i'll always reply.
