I recieved a huge response to my last post about the peplum trend earlier this year, & it seems that it's a style that is only getting stronger as months go on. Earlier this week I popped into Matalan to stock up on some trinkets for my bedroom and bathroom.. & after having a little browse in the women's section came across a lovely simple black peplum top which I fell in love with, and for a heart stopping bargain at £12 I just had to buy it. The fabric is quite dense and elasticated but fits the body beautifully. My only problem with Malatans peplums is the sizing, I urge anyone thinking about buying them to pop into store rather than online as I am usually a size 12 and had to buy an 8! (although I am pretty ecstatic to house a size 8 in my wardrobe) Naturally the online store has more choice in colours, as my local Matalan only housed black and white, and the Doncaster store only stocked turqouise and burgundy. But if you're a student, and on a tight budget its worth a neb to see which colours they stock in store just to recieve your cheeky student discount :) I'm definetly going to raid the online store for the royal blue and burgundy versions! Which colours do you like? & where else have you seen bargain peplums?
