I've always considered myself as the girly-girl who would any day choose a lacy dress over a pair of denim for an evening out. But this year denim is undergoing a major transformation. Designers have morphed so much sartorial appeal into the basic denim, that wearing one for an evening event feels so achievable.
Today I coupled my favorite girlfriend jeans with a ruffled top and a pair of cute bow flats. Blouses with ruffles is yet another trendy silhouette that is taking the fashion scene by storm. Blouses with ruffles not limited to sleeves and lapels have become a must-have trend. To finish off this look, I added this fierce faux-fur leopard coat, which definitely takes that Canadian tuxedo up a notch. In order for me to stay true to the essence of Valentine's day, comes the bright romantic sensuous red lip.
I would totally wear this outfit on a Valentine's dinner date with Hubby. What about you ??
